Athena – The Mag’scientifique
Athena – The Mag’scientifique is a free monthly publication (10 issues per year from June to September) published by the Department of Technology Development (DGO6) Public Service of Wallonia (SPW). Created in 1983, the magazine aims to popularize science for, making it accessible to all and educate the public, and young people in particular, issues, opportunities and careers in research and new technologies. It intends to help develop, in everyone, a true scientific culture.
Sweeping many areas (health / medicine, technology, physics, chemistry, space, biology, astronomy, company …), Athena aims to be a showcase of Wallonia in science news, technology, innovation and progress ; and a preferred communication medium for actors dissemination of science, business, academia and Walloon research centers.
Athena, by its free, the variety of subjects offered, the quality of published information, is unique in Wallonia and holds a special place in the landscape of the French scientific press.
